The Voice host Carson Daly revealed the results of the home viewer votes cast following Monday night's live performance show, which had featured the season's Top 12 artists taking the stage, and both Sugar Joans and Jessie Pitts got eliminated.

Sugar was on Pharrell Williams' team, while Jessie represented Blake Shelton's team.

Ryan Sill, who is on Gwen Stefani's team, was also a member of the bottom-three votegetters, however, America chose to keep him in the competition via the show's "Instant Save" format.

When declared the bottom three, Ryan, Sugar and Jessie were all afforded the chance to perform one last time for home viewers in the hope of convincing them they deserved to join the others in next week's live show.

Sugar sang "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" by Whitney Houston, and Pharrell told the audience there was so much texture to her voice and she had incredible ambition.

Jessie tried to win America over by singing "Gravity" by Sara Bareilles. Blake asked home viewers to save his artist because she was the sweetest girl and brought an element to the show no one else had in the competition.

Ryan performed "More Than Words" by Extreme. Gwen -- who coached half of the Top 12 at one point or another -- argued Ryan has an amazing spirit and was getting better with every performance in front of everyone's eyes.

Although Sugar and Jessie have been ousted from The Voice, they may not be gone for good. Every singer eliminated from the Top 12 will have a second chance to re-enter the competition.

After the Final 3 is revealed later this season, the show will bring all the previously-eliminated artists back to perform again. America's vote will then determine a fourth "Wild Card" finalist.
