The Voice eliminated two Top 12 artists during Tuesday night's broadcast of the NBC reality singing competition's fourth season.

The two artists to receive the fewest votes each week will be forced to go home no matter which coach's team they are on. Vedo was one of the team members representing Usher this season.
"Well, surviving elimination would mean the world to me because it allows me to show America another side of me and continue to grow as an artist on this show. It also allows me more time to be an inspiration to people like myself and younger people who look up to me and everybody. It's good for everybody," Vedo told Carson before the results were revealed.
Garrett was a member of Shakira's three-person team. He had auditioned for The Voice last season but didn't make the cut.
"Honestly, just to come back and prove that just because you don't make it the first time on so many separate occasions that the biggest part -- as Usher and everybody else up here -- I just remember, 'If you don't take risks, no reward,'" Garrett told Carson when asked what the greatest part of the experience was for him.
"If you don't get back up from a previous experience, it doesn't prove anything if you don't try again. I'd also like to give a shout-out to my father. It's his birthday today. If you try, you can do anything. I didn't make it the first time and look where I am now. It's the most incredible experience of my entire life."
Ironically, the two newbie coaches on the show each lost a member of their team this early on.
The remaining members of Usher's team are Michelle Chamuel from Amherst, MA, and Josiah Hawley from Ft. Smith, AR. "Team Shakira" is left with Sasha Allen from New York, NY, and Kris Thomas from Memphis, TN.
The fourth-season teams of veteran coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton remain intact. "Team Adam" is comprised of Judith Hill from Pasadena, CA; Amber Carrington from Rockwall, TX; and Sarah Simmons from Memphis, TN.
Blake's team features the following artists: Holly Tucker from Lorena, TX; Danielle Bradbery from Cypress, TX; and Colton Swon and Zach Swon from Muskogee, OK -- a duo who perform as The Swon Brothers.
