The Voice's fifth season kicked off on a high note with two incredible standout singers both of whom coach Adam Levine claimed could win the whole thing.

While eight artists successfully made it on one of the four coach's teams during Monday night's premiere broadcast, Matthew Shuler and James Wolpert separated themselves from the competition.
All four coaches -- Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton -- turned their chairs around for Shuler and Wolpert, who wowed the crowd with their performances. Shuler from Yardley, PA turned all four chairs within the first five seconds of his vocal.
Shuler ended up on Aguilera's team after she aggressively fought for him.
"Well damn, who the hell are you?!... Your voice is beautiful. It's beautiful!" a surprised Green asked Shuler after he took the stage.

"To see the joy and passion with which you sing, dude, like that's the best part," Levine told the singer. "I don't have 800 [The Voice] wins like [Blake] over there, but he's due for a loss. After three, hey, you have to lose one. But I will tell you man, I know for a fact that we can win this together. I know we can do it. This is a big one. This is the big one that I have to get -- have to get it, have to get you!"
"Adam has a great sales pitch but I'm coming back with refreshed ears. I want to take this thing home. Adam just wants to chill and relax. He's been through this many times... [If] the guy wants to go with the guys, I get it, but please break that cycle! Let me be the first female coach to win this thing. I am on your side, please!" Aguilera begged.
Shuler said his heart was telling him to choose Aguilera, and she was actually surprised he picked her.
As for Wolpert from Strasburg, PA, he was snagged by Levine after a heated debate.
"To have that much character in your voice is amazing... We were all like holy crap!... You're a complete vocalist," Shelton said.

"This is when the gloves come off. We're going to fight tooth and nail for you. Nobody loves you more than me," Green argued. "You didn't need our turn-around to be confident. It was like you were born for this moment."
"It's crazy how advanced you are in a way. Dude, you can win. You can win this for sure," Levine noted.
"You're so versatile," added Aguilera. "Thank you for showing me why I did come back to this show. At this point, the boys are just tired."
Green was screaming to choose him over the loud cheers from the audience, but Wolpert still selected Levine.
In addition to Shuler, Aguilera also snagged Josh Logan from Manchester, NH for her team.

Levine, in addition to Wolpert, also selected the following artists for his team: Donna Allen from Tampa Bay and Hallandale, FL, and Nic Hawk from Davenport, IA and Dallas, TX.
Shelton picked up Shelbie Z. from Jasper, AL.
Green chose to have Caroline Pennell from Saddle River, NJ, and Kat Robichaud from Raleigh, NC, on his team.
