The Voice's penultimate episode on NBC featured the four finalists singing blow for blow in what turned out to be an amazing night of performances, including original songs, on Monday night.

Brooke Simpson, a 26-year-old singer from the Haliwa-Saponi tribe in Hollister, NC who currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL; Chloe Kohanski, a 23-year-old singer from Mt. Juliet, TN; Addison Agen, a 16-year-old from Fort Wayne, IN; and Red Marlow, a 40-year-old construction company owner from Rogersville, AL who currently resides in Dickson, TN, were each able to sing one cover song, a duet with his or her coach, and an original song either written by or for the contestant that had also been recorded in a studio for release.

There's no telling who's going to win Season 13 of The Voice, as the four finalists are all incredibly talented but also very different from one another.

However, Red certainly had his work cut out for him, singing against three powerhouse female vocalists who have edge, unique artistry and passion.

Brooke represents Miley Cyrus' team, both Red and Chloe are members of Blake Shelton's team, and Addison is Adam Levine's only remaining artist. Coach Jennifer Hudson's team, unfortunately, was not represented in the finals.

Addison's original song is called "Tennessee Rain." The song was emotional and showed off Addison's strengths.

"You are music. You're 16. To know when to quiet the notes, to be passionate about the song, to know when to move -- you can't learn that... you were born with it and you were truly born to be a star," Jennifer told Adam's artist.

Adam noted that since the start of the competition, Addison has chosen songs that best reflect who she is as a person and artist.

"I can't imagine a better example or aspirational human being than Addison... you should win," Adam told her.

Chloe's original song is a catchy rock tune called "Wish I Didn't Love You."

Blake told the spunky blonde beauty that she isn't like anybody else, nor does she sound like anybody else. Blake admires the way Chloe's voice "cracks and pops," and he called her a "superstar."

Brooke's original song is called "What Is Beautiful," which is an anthem for women everywhere to love themselves and see their own beauty.

Adam admitted he's been sad since Day 1 of the competition because he really wanted Brooke on his team. He said she had a moment and truly showed who she is. Adam said the song is perfect for what she wants to say and the type of artist she wants to be.

Miley called Brooke "a necessary artist" because she's sending out a message that she's perfect the way she is and no one can change her.

"This girl is 'the Voice' and she's a superstar!" Miley yelled.

Red's original song, which he wrote himself, is entitled "I Pray." The lyrics really hit home for the country artist, and the song is very near and dear to him.

"You don't have to try to be country. It's who you are... and I'm not surprised to see you here in the finals," Jennifer said.

Blake explained that Red probably made it this far because he's relatable and sings about his own real-life experiences.

As for the finalists' cover songs, Red performed "To Make You Feel My Love" by Bob Dylan.

"You blow me away," Blake told his team member, "not just by your talent, but with your composure and the fact you have spent your entire life -- and it was evident in that moment -- preparing for this."

Brooke belted out "Oh Holy Night" and got everyone in the Christmas spirit. Jennifer said Brooke's performance was a gift to everyone and she really outdid herself.

"Tonight has been your night," Miley added. "You've never shined brighter. It's not about just how beautiful you look but how beautiful you sound."

Chloe took the stage with "Bette Davis Eyes" by Kim Carnes, and it was no surprise the classic-rock singer commanded the stage.

"Please America, let's put this powerful female rock and roll human being in the winner's circle tomorrow! Vote for Chloe!" Blake yelled after the performance.

For her cover song, Addison sang "Humble and Kind" by Tim McGraw, and at the very end of her vocal, she broke down into tears and stopped singing.

Jennifer insisted that Addison's emotion just made the performance that much more real for everyone listening.

"You are humble, you are beautiful and you are kind, and you showed that in your song," Jennifer said.

Adam then gushed about how he's "beyond proud" of Addison and, although she got overwhelmed by the song, the coach admired how she became more human to viewers watching.

Addison and Adam also sang a duet together, "Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. Miley and Brooke belted out an amazing duet of the coach's song "Wrecking Ball," and Blake sang "I'm Going To Miss Her" by Brad Paisley with Red as well as "You Got It" by Roy Orbison with Chloe.

The winner of The Voice's thirteenth season will be crowned during Tuesday night's final live results show from 9-11PM ET/PT on NBC.
