After the three artists each sang a survival song on Tuesday night's live show, America voted on The Voice official app and NBC.com via the show's "Instant Save" format to keep Marybeth in the competition.
The seven acts who automatically advanced and will join Marybeth in next week's live show are Will Breman, a 25-year-old from Santa Barbara, CA; Katie Kadan, a 38-year-old from Chicago, IL; Rose Short, a 34-year-old from Killeen, TX; Ricky Duran, a 29-year-old from Austin, TX; Kat Hammock, an 18-year-old from Encinitas, CA; Hello Sunday, a duo comprised of Myla Finks, a 14-year-old from Atlanta, GA, and Chelsea Glover, a 13-year-old from Atlanta, GA; and Jake Hoot, a 31-year-old from Cookeville, TN.
On Tuesday night, Shane Q kicked off the elimination format by singing "Killing Me Softly With His Song" by Roberta Flack
Blake told Shane his voice is "so unique" and he had "a really great song choice." Blake was surprised to see Shane in the bottom again, but he admitted the competition continues to get tighter and tighter.
Kelly said she was shocked as well and this is such "a talented season" of The Voice. Kelly complimented Shane for being able to tackle different genres of music, and she thought he had selected a beautiful song for a vocalist.

Gwen noted how Joanna has blossomed right before America's eyes and her personality is just starting to come out. Gwen insisted viewers needed to vote for Joanna so they could get to know her even better and see more from her.
And finally, Marybeth took the stage with "You Are the Reason" by Calum Scott, Leona Lewis and Ilse DeLange.

At the end of the final commercial break, the vote was 49% in Marybeth's favor, compared to 26% of the votes that had poured in for Joana and 24% of the votes that went to Shane.
Before The Voice host Carson Daly announced the results live, Shane told Kelly that she pushes him to his limits and he's going to take her advice to help him grow.
