The Voice artist Korin Bukowski finally lost her battle to stay on the show during Tuesday night's broadcast on NBC.

The Voice host Carson Daly revealed the results of the home viewer votes cast following Monday night's live performance show -- which had featured the ninth season's Top 10 artists taking the stage -- and Korin was eliminated, determining the Top 9 artists.
Korin was the first loss for Gwen Stefani's team since the Top 12 live shows began airing. This marked the third time since then Korin had landed in the bottom two and was forced to fight for her spot in the competition.
Braiden Sunshine, who is also on Gwen's team, was the other member of the bottom two, however, America chose to keep him on the show via its "Instant Save" format.
When declared the bottom two, Korin and Braiden were each afforded the chance to perform one last time for home viewers. They were hoping to convince America why they deserved to join the others in next week's live show.

But Korin appeared disappointed and simply over the competition. When she performed "Try" by Colbie Caillat, she immediately seemed defeated and flubbed her lyrics. After repeating the chorus over and over again, Korin received a standing ovation from the audience for her efforts.
The Voice coaches then tried to lift Korin's spirits by saying they were proud of her and even the best singers mess up their lyrics every once in a while. Gwen insisted, "This is just a show," to make Korin feel better.
Braiden sang Maroon 5's "Harder to Breathe." He also didn't have a perfect performance, but the 15-year-old crooner did a decent enough job to stick around one more week.
America had a five-minute window to vote on Twitter, and during the commercial break, only two percent separated the pair. Carson later announced Braiden had been saved.
The Top 9 finalists still remaining are Braiden, Jordan Smith, Jeffery Austin, Amy Vachal, Shelby Brown, Madi Davis, Emily Ann Roberts, Barrett Baber and Zach Seabaugh.
