The Voice eliminated both Lilli Passero and Mark Isaiah, determining the twelfth season's Top 8 artists, during Tuesday night's live results broadcast on NBC.

Lilli from Los Angeles, CA, and Mark from Mount Pocono, PA, landed in the bottom three with Vanessa Ferguson from Greensboro, NC, based on home viewer votes cast following Monday night's Top 10 performance show.
The results left Mark in the bottom of the pack three weeks in a row -- four weeks if The Voice viewers count his coach Adam Levine choosing to save him from the bottom three in the previous "The Live Playoffs" round.
Mark had previously defeated Troy Ramey and Stephanie Rice for the "Instant Save."
Last night marked the first time Lilli, who represented Adam's team as well, and Vanessa, who competed on Alicia Keys' team, landed in the bottom on a live results show.

After Lilli, Mark and Vanessa each sang a survival song Tuesday night, America tweeted via the show's "Instant Save" format to keep Vanessa in the competition.
Lilli kicked off the elimination format by singing "Stormy Weather" by Etta James.
Adam told home viewers that Lilli needed to stay in the competition because she has so much potential.
Adam said that while they might not have "broken through yet," everyone works at their own pace on the show and Lilli was capable of achieving everything her The Voice peers have accomplished.
Adam added there was more of Lilli to show the world, as she's an "interesting, different and multi-dimensional" artist.

Mark then followed that up with a performance of "Sorry" by Justin Bieber.
Adam gushed about how great Mark is, saying no one could handle the stress of landing in the bottom two or three multiple times like Mark has -- and Mark has pushed through such lows with a smile.
Adam was shocked to see two artists on his team in the bottom of the results and said he admires Mark's courage and "positive mentality."
Vanessa then stepped on the stage and impressed with a rendition of "For Once In My Life" by Stevie Wonder.
Alicia stood up and exclaimed to the world how taken she was with her team member. Alicia explained that Vanessa is free, alive and beautiful, adding that she's the whole package an artist should be.

Alicia then seemed to seal the deal by insisting to America that voting to save Vanessa would be like everyone voting to save Alicia herself because Alicia was just like Vanessa when she started out in the music industry.
Alicia explained that if no one believed in her or gave her a chance, she never would've made it to where she is today.
Alicia's passion brought tears to Vanessa's eyes, and it was clear the artist was extremely thankful to have such a great coach in her corner.
Home viewers then had a short five-minute window to vote for Lilli, Mark or Vanessa to stay on The Voice, as two artists had to be sent home last night. At the end of the episode's final commercial break, the vote was Vanessa 47 percent, Lilli 32 percent, and Mark 21 percent.
In the end, home viewers voted to advance Vanessa to next week's Top 8 performance show.
