As Team Blake and Team Alicia took the stage one at a time for the Live Playoffs round, home viewers voted in real-time for their favorite artists or performances.

After Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson's teams sing on Wednesday night's one-hour broadcast of The Voice, the season's Top 12 artists will be revealed. (Four of the Top 12 -- Brynn Cartelli, Sharane Calister, Kyla Jade and Britton Buchanan -- have already been announced).

Tuesday night's performance show kicked off with Spensha Baker, a 25-year-old from Boerne, TX, singing "Smoke Break."

Kelly said she's going to be "a force in country music," and Blake noted that while he tries hard not to pick favorites in this competition, Spensha happens to be one of his favorite artists he's ever worked with on the show because of her voice, personality and stage presence.

Wilkes, a 33-year-old from Waleska, GA, then performed an interesting and surprising rendition of No Doubt's "Don't Speak."

The coaches were wildly excited about this performance, especially because Wilkes had an amazing recovery after his microphone stand nearly dropped to the ground when he was in the middle of belting out a high note.

Alicia explained that Wilkes is special and has a "ridiculous range," so he "deserves to be here." Blake added that it was a great song choice and he was really impressed.

Pryor Baird, a 35-year-old from Nashville, TN, sang "9 to 5" and got all the coaches up on their feet.

Adam called Pryor "amazing" and said he must remain on the show just so he can listen to him sing more songs.

"He belongs here," Adam pointed out, before Blake agreed that Pryor deserves to be on The Voice and it's hard to imagine him not getting through because of the momentum and fanbase he's building. Blake said everyone is talking about Pryor.

Austin Giorgio, a 21-year-old from Rochester, NY, took the stage with a crooner rendition of "Love Yourself."

Alicia said Austin has such a light inside of him and she loves that he's keeping "the classic style alive." Blake explained that Austin has "earned his place moving forward on this show" because there is no one carrying the torch for the type of music he wants to make.

"You're a gift to us, man, and I hope that people vote for you," Blake gushed.

Wrapping up Team Blake's performances was Gary Edwards, a 26-year-old from Dallas, TX, who belted out "America the Beautiful" and received a standing ovation. Kelly said his range is "insane" and Blake was so glad that Gary had made his presence known on The Voice.

Team Alicia was up next, starting with Terrence Cunningham, a 36-year-old from Los Angeles, CA, who sang "Ain't Nobody."

Adam said it's like Terrence is from a different planet and no one truly understands how difficult it is to accomplish what Terrence has achieved vocally. Adam called the artist's voice complicated, sophisticated, seasoned, jazzy, and left of center.

"You are what the show should epitomize, which is a fresh, original, different and unique voice. It was amazing," Adam gushed.

Alicia added America should vote for Terrence because he arranges and creates his own music the way he hears it in his heart and the artist marches to the beat of his own drum. Alicia noted that Terrence has the ability to move people.

Christiana Danielle, a 22-year-old from Fort Wayne, IN, then belted out "Take Me To Church."

"I think you might be the greatest person on this show!" Kelly exclaimed. "I love my team. My team is flawless... but if I'm looking at anyone on anybody's team, you are the one to beat. You are ridiculous."

Alicia explained that Christiana is a special soul and "a goddess descending upon the earth."  Alicia complimented the artist's energy being pure and her one-of-a-kind voice. Alicia wants Christiana to be the artist whom America can take credit for discovering.

Jackie Foster, a 22-year-old from Boston, MA, impressed with her performance of "Alone."

After receiving a standing ovation, Alicia admitted that her mouth was hanging open the whole time. Alicia said Jackie has a clear sense of who she is and she chooses beautiful songs that end up being delivered "effortlessly."

After saying Jackie is genuine and powerful, Alicia asked home viewers not to take for granted what she was just able to pull off.

Kelsea Johnson, a 22-year-old from Woodland Hills, CA, then took the stage with "Need U Bad."

Alicia pointed out how Kelsea was "swagging so hard," adding that she has an essence all her own and she's carving out her own space on this show and in the music industry.

Johnny Bliss, a 26-year-old from New York, NY, then closed the show with a stunning performance of "One and Only."

"There's not one style of music that you cannot conquer," Alicia said, also noting that he's extremely versatile.

Alicia said Johnny's voice is strong and one of a kind. She was also impressed by Johnny's range, as he can sing songs recorded by female vocalists in their original high key.

Only two artists will advance from each team on Wednesday, rounding out The Voice's fourteenth-season Top 12 contestants.
