Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are each allowed one "Steal" in the Knockout Round, and Taylor mentors and advises all the contestants during rehearsals.
The first Knockout pairing of the night was between Rose, a 34-year-old from Killeen, TX, and Destiny Rayne, a 23-year-old from Nashville, TN, on behalf of "Team Gwen."
Rose performed "Big White Room" by Jessie J. and then Destiny sang "Tell Me You Love Me" by Demi Lovato.
Rose received a standing ovation from all four coaches after her performance. Kelly said it was smart for Destiny to show her vocal range off, but she said Rose is "an impressive singer" with a presence both vocally and in spirit.
Blake admitted to Destiny her song seemed to get the best of her in the highest register, but then he pointed out Rose's performance was his favorite of the Knockout Rounds so far.
"I've had Gwen as my best friend, and I can see the affect it has on somebody -- the way she helps you to believe in yourself," Blake said, complimenting his girlfriend Gwen simultaneously.
"That was so sweet, my God!" Gwen noted on the verge of tears.
John loved working with Destiny and thought it was a strong performance, but Rose rose to the occasion with "gorgeous and clear" notes. John went as far as to say Rose's performance was "phenomenal."

Gwen said Destiny lost who he is a bit in that song but Rose's take on the song was really "moving." Gwen named Rose the winner of the Knockout.

For "Team Kelly," Kiara Brown, a 22-year-old from Las Vegas, NV, sang "The Bones" by Maren Morris against Shane Q, a 29-year-old from Sacramento, CA, who performed "In Case You Didn't Know" by Brett Young.
Blake told Kiara that she's one of his favorite people this season and her smile is "infectious." He said she stepped up to the plate but Shane Q did a perfect job of singing the song.
However, Blake wanted to see more passion, rawness and heart from Shane Q on the stage.
John agreed Kiara has a peaceful spirit and challenged herself, but he thought Shane Q's performance was stunning and dazzling. John also disagreed with Blake, saying Shane Q had a great stage presence and execution.
After Gwen pointed out Kiara is really special but Shane sings effortlessly, Kelly had to make a very tough decision.
Kelly said Kiara had accomplished so much in such a short amount of time on her team while she could sense some "hesitancy" coming from Shane Q.
Kelly clearly wanted Shane Q to show more of his light, but she advanced Shane Q because he seemed a bit more ready for the competition at this stage in the game.

Kat took the stage with "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer on piano, while Lauren bravely belted out "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson. Both girls were coached by Blake.
John thought Lauren did a great job with the song and he could hear the pain and intensity in her voice, however, he called Kat's performance a "revelation" and said she executed the vocals "almost flawlessly."
Gwen was blown away by Kat's voice, saying she sounded like an angel and sang in a comforting and soothing way. In fact, Gwen noted Kat is one of her favorite artists on the show this season.
Kelly said Lauren really honed into her song's message, while Kat showed who she is rather than getting trapped into "an imitation game" since her voice is similar to the original artist's sound.
Blake was blown away by Kat's "originality" and "talent." Although the coach loved a crackling sound in Lauren's voice when she sings in her higher register, Blake declared Kat the winner of the Knockout.
John was in charge of the next Knockout, which was between Will, a 25-year-old from Santa Barbara, CA, and Zoe Upkins, an 18-year-old from Nashville, TN.
Zoe performed "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" by Meghan Trainor featuring John Legend, and then Will performed "I Don't Care" by Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber.

"Zoe, that sounded like your album. Your voice is perfect for that song," Gwen said. "And the fact you're a 16-year-old girl and have that much confidence and ability to really channel that lyric, it was a really good performance."
But Gwen called Will "magnetic" and said he's "so unique" and sings effortlessly, even his runs.
"I'm such a huge fan, and I have to say Will is the winner of this Knockout for me," Gwen noted.
Kelly called both performances "phenomenal," saying Will brought such energy to the stage but Zoe's fluid voice is not even normal. Kelly admitted she was "really mad" she didn't have a Steal because she didn't want either person to go home.

John tried to stall because he didn't know which team member to pick as the winner. He complimented Zoe for being poised and so gifted beyond her years.
But John was also drawn to Will's fire and energy. He said it was really fun to watch Will perform and show off his creativity and artistry.
With all that being said, John announced Will had won the Knockout.
Gwen's team members then took the stage, and the coach paired Royce Lovett, a 30-year-old from Tallahassee, FL, with Jake, a 24-year-old from Charlotte, NC.

Jake belted out "Powerful" by Major Lazer featuring Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley and then Royce performed "Wake Me Up" by Avicii.
Kelly thought Jake delivered some really beautiful notes but Royce "has stage presence for days."
Kelly was leaning towards Jake because of his last two performances, and Blake was still trying to figure out who Royce is as an artist. Blake also wanted to see more personality from Jake.
John loved the charm of Royce's performance and the ease he has on the stage.
John thought Jake had the edge since he's a "slightly better vocalist."
Gwen then explained Jake's vocals blew her away, especially since he had so much control, but she was also in love with Royce and the way he can bounce in and out of genres.

The final Knockout of the night belonged to "Team Kelly" artists Hello Sunday, a duo of 14 year olds -- Chelsea Glover and Myla Finks -- from Atlanta, GA, and Alex, a 25-year-old from Marietta, GA.
Hello Sunday performed "Almost Is Never Enough" by Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes, and Alex sang "I'm Not the Only One" by Sam Smith.
Hello Sunday actually brought Taylor to tears during rehearsal. Taylor said she just melted at the girls' connection and how they sounded together.

Blake gushed about how Hello Sunday was made up of the cutest girls in the competition and they continued to get better and more relaxed.
Blake admitted he'd probably choose Hello Sunday to win, but while John agreed it was incredible how Hello Sunday harmonized with each other, he thought Alex delivered his best performance yet.
"You approached it with a subtlety and a taste level that was very impressive to me," John said. "I would lean a little bit more towards Alex after that performance."
Gwen complimented how interesting and different Hello Sunday is onstage, but she explained Alex continues to get better and he really stuck. Gwen would choose Hello Sunday if the decision was up to her because they're so original.
Kelly appreciated Alex's range and tone, but she knew it was incredible what Hello Sunday do.
Kelly named Hello Sunday the winners of the Knockout, but then John chose to steal Alex for his own team. John felt Alex really came with his A-game and they could do great things together.
