Rose Short, a 34-year-old from Killeen, TX, performed first, singing "God's Country" by Blake Shelton on behalf of Gwen's team.
All of the coaches gave Rose a standing ovation as she repeatedly admitted that song was "hard" to sing.
Blake said Rose was "killing it" on the stage and she made the song seem effortless. Blake loved how Rose opened the song and executed some ad-libs, and he thought it was "incredible."
Kelly said it's such a great song with a lot of range and Rose performed it with perfection, taste and class.
Gwen gushed about how Rose looked "stunning" on the stage and the song seemed meant to be for her. Gwen was so proud of her artist and couldn't believe that her mother had actually suggested the song for her.
Marybeth Byrd, an 18-year-old from Armorel, AR, performed "Lose You To Love Me" by Selena Gomez for "Team Legend." The four coaches also gave Marybeth a standing ovation.
Kelly explained Marybeth's vocals were very powerful and took viewers on a journey. She said Marybeth has the ability to make listeners hang on her every word.
"I was floored by that -- absolutely floored," Gwen said, adding that Marybeth made the song her own and it could've been her own original song. "I loved it!"
John was so happy watching that performance because Marybeth built a story and delivered a lot of artistry.

The coaches got on their feet for Kat, and Blake even walked away from his chair.
Gwen considered it a "magical" performance and said she could hear the air coming out of her voice, which is "unique" and "original."
"Nobody is like you. You are the most original person on this show, for sure," Gwen noted.
John agreed and said everyone could tell Marybeth was performing her own version of the song, and then Blake said he was running out of compliments for the young singer.
Blake dubbed that his favorite performance of hers so far and compared her to a singing angel on top of a Christmas tree, busting into song.
Shane Q, a 29-year-old from Sacramento, CA, took the stage with "Caribbean Queen (No More Love On the Run) by Billy Ocean after landing in the bottom two last week. He's a member of Kelly's team.
John loved how Shane brought "passion and energy" to the performance and had a big ending. He saw Shane growing as a performer week to week.

Jake Hoot, a 31-year-old from Cookeville, TN, sang "That Ain't My Truck" by Rhett Akins on behalf of Kelly's team.
Gwen thought that was Jake's best performance on the show yet, saying, "You're just this ordinary guy with an extraordinary voice." Gwen said Jake was so relaxed on the stage and she believed in the moment he's a true country star.
Blake loved the song and admitted to the country singer, "As hard as this is for me to say, Kelly is doing an incredible job... You're killing it, dude!"
"I mean hell has frozen over!" Kelly yelled.
"I have been drinking," Blake joked.
Kelly told Jake's he's so good and he better not get a big head.
Joana Martinez, a 16-year-old from Miami, FL, sang "Impossible" by Christina Aguilera for "Team Gwen."
John pointed out that Joana had owned the moment and conveyed a lot of emotion through the song. He noted her confidence, poise and maturity are "so far beyond" her years.
Gwen had to keep reminding herself that Joana just turned 16 years old, and she said it was such an honor to watch Joana grow before her very eyes. Gwen said Joana "manhandled the stage" and should never be insecure about her talent.

"This can't be real. This can't really be happening on this show right now," Blake quipped. "She can't be that good! This is a setup... There's no way somebody can be this good who hasn't already made it in the music industry."
Kelly agreed and said Katie stands out in the competition because she's so unique and lights a fire and makes everyone happy.
John revealed that when his team was rehearsing at his house the day before Thanksgiving and his family flew in, the only people they wanted to meet was Katie. John apparently went to Target afterwards to buy gift wrap for his wife's birthday present, only for someone to walk up to him in the store and say she was just thinking about Katie.

John said it's no secret Ricky is incredible. John wished Ricky had joined his team in the Blinds, and he admitted he's a true fan. John expected from the start Ricky would go far on this show.
Blake begged viewers at home to rewind that performance and try to find something that wasn't magical about it.
"America, if this guy doesn't belong in the finale, I will kiss your collective butts. This guy deserves to be in the finale!" Blake shouted.
And finally, Will Breman, a 25-year-old from Santa Barbara, CA, sang "My Body" by Young the Giant on behalf of John's team.

Kelly gushed, "Just let me know where you're playing after you're done with this show and I'm going to show up! That was incredible. It was, like, this was your show and everyone opened up for you."
Gwen said the music lives inside of Will and he's just trying to get it out. She called him "electric" and admitted she can't wait to watch him every week to see what he'll do next.
John revealed this was his favorite performance of Will's yet because the song was perfect for his voice and he just "slayed it." John said Will controlled the performance in a beautiful way and it was "masterful."
