Sharane represented coach Adam Levine's team on The Voice, while Christiana will remain on coach Alicia Keys' team going forward.
After both artists sang a survival song last night, America tweeted via the show's "Instant Save" format to keep Christiana in the competition.
On Tuesday night, Sharane kicked off the elimination format by singing "If I Were a Boy" by Beyonce for her survival song.
Adam told Sharane that she is due to have a big, breakthrough moment on the show just like Rayshun Lamarr had earlier this week and she deserves the chance to stay and have that moment.
Adam also pointed out the bottom two on The Voice every week doesn't represent the cast's talent but rather people's varying opinions during a short period of time.
Christiana then followed that up with a performance of "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri.
Alicia said she'd be very surprised if everyone didn't get goosebumps while listening to Christiana's performance. The coach added there is no one like her on the show and she is "a beautiful piece of art."
Home viewers then had a brief five-minute window to vote for Sharane or Christiana to stay on The Voice via Twitter.
Prior to learning whether or not they would stick around for another week, Sharane thanked Adam for letting her fulfill her dream on the show, and Christiana said she was grateful to Alicia for her encouragement, kind words and pushing her to be bold.
Although the real-time voting results usually show on-screen during the commercials as they pour in, there appeared to be an issue with the graphic, and so viewers were left in the dark about the percentages until The Voice host Carson Daly confirmed they were unseen by America but proven to be accurate.
Carson then announced the final set of results at the end of the night, and Christiana was instantly saved for the Top 10.
