The Voice host Carson Daly announced results at different points in the broadcast, resulting in the top votegetter from each team advancing to the season's Top 12 artists.
By the end of the night, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine and Alicia Keys each had one artist in the lineup for next week.
The four lucky and talented artists who glided into the Top 12 were Team Kelly's Brynn Cartelli, a 14-year-old from Longmeadow, MA, who is the youngest person in the competition this season; Team Adam's Sharane Calister, a 24-year-old from Des Moines, IA; Team Blake's Kyla Jade, a 33-year-old from Nashville, TN; and Team Alicia's Britton Buchanan, an 18-year-old from Sanford, NC.
Brynn sang "Unstoppable," Sharane performed "Never Enough" and received a standing ovation from all four coaches, Kyla belted out "How Great Thou Art" and earned herself a standing ovation, and Britton sang "Some Kind of Wonderful" and also got the coaches on their feet.
Meanwhile, the remaining 20 hopefuls will get to perform again over the next two nights of competition, and then two more artists on each of the four teams will go through to the next round.
Blake and Alicia's team members will perform on Tuesday night, while Kelly and Adam's teams will take the stage on Wednesday night.
