The Voice's Top 8 artists performed and two of Adam Levine's team members blew everyone away during Monday night's live seventh-season show on NBC.

While every artist in the Top 8 delivered and impressed to the best of his or her ability, Adam's two team members Damien and Matt McAndrew received a standing ovation from all four coaches and set themselves apart from the rest of the pack.

Damien sang "Someone Like You" by Adele. Coach Blake Shelton called Damien "a machine" because he performs with so much passion and soul. Coach Pharrell Williams explained he "effortlessly paints the air" with his notes and so easily runs up and down the stairs of his range.

Coach Gwen Stefani told Damien the song was perfect timing for him to hopefully get into the Top 5. And Adam basically ran out of wonderful things to say about his artist. Adam said this performance was Damien's choice and a dream of his to sing, and so it wasn't a surprise this was his best performance of the season.

Matt McAndrew, who is also on "Team Adam," sang a heartfelt ballad called "The Blower's Daughter" by Damien Rice. It was the first time Blake ever heard that song and he was thankful he got to hear Matt's rendition because it was "frickin' brilliant." Adam expressed how proud he was of Matt and how he adores him, calling his performance very genuine and emotional.

Adam's other artist, Chris Jamison, sang "Sexual Healing" by Marvin Gaye.

On "Team Gwen," Ryan Sill -- who has been in the bottom-three several weeks in a row -- sang "Open Arms" by Journey, and Taylor John Williams performed "Royals" by Lorde.

Blake's remaining artist Craig Wayne Boyd sang "Take it Easy" by The Eagles.

Representing Pharrell, DaNica Shirey took the stage with a memorable and powerful rendition of "These Dreams" by Heart. She's the only female left in the competition at this point. In addition, Luke Wade sang "Holding Back the Years" by Simply Red.

Tuesday night's The Voice results show will feature three artists getting eliminated to determine the Top 5.
