The X Factor eliminated Rachel Crow and determined its Top 4 semifinalist acts Thursday night during the new Fox reality singing competition's sixth live results show.

Due to the deadlock, Crow, a 13-year-old from Longmont, CO, was then automatically eliminated due to her status as the week's lowest vote-getter.
"I just, I love you so much everybody for voting for me even though you didn't, and thank you for giving me this, because without you I am nothing. I hope this is not my ending. You know what? I know it's not and I will go so far. I promise you, and I love you. And to my family, you are amazing and you made so many sacrifices for me. Just, I love you," Crow said in tears following her elimination.
Crow was being mentored in the "Girls Under 30" category by Cowell, while Canty was one of the "Boys Under 30" category acts Reid had been mentoring.
"Bottom two again!?" Canty joked once the bottom two acts were revealed, referencing how it was his third time this season he had been one of the lowest vote-getters. "But, it's Top 5, man. I just gotta go out there and deliver from the heart. It's from my heart where I sing from -- from the heart."
"It is brand new [territory]. I'm okay. I'm going to sing it the best that I can and I love you Marcus, I do," Crow said.
Prior to Jones revealing that Crow and Canty had received the lowest number of votes, he announced that Josh Krajcik, Chris Rene and Melanie Amaro had all advanced in the competition -- leaving Crow and Canty up for elimination. According to Jones, the names of the three acts who had definitely survived another week were called out in no particular order.
Abdul had no acts remaining in her "Group" category, while Cowell mentored Amaro in addition to Crow in his "Girls Under 30" category. Besides Canty, Rene was the other act remaining in Reid's "Boys Under 30" category, while Krajcik was Scherzinger's only "Over 30" act left competing on the show.
As the bottom two acts, Crow and Canty were then required to "sing for their survival" in the hopes The X Factor judges would vote to keep them on the show. After the acts performed, the judges offered them feedback and then cast their votes for who they believed should remain in the competition.
In the event of a 2-2 tie, Jones explained it would be a deadlock in which the act who had received the lowest amount of home viewer votes would automatically be eliminated.
"Alright. This has to be the toughest decision that -- the toughest part of the show -- making this decision right now, because both of you are great. You actually really surprised me, Rachel. You really pulled that [survival song] out. I didn't expect that. I have to tell you," Reid told her.
"I was completely prepared for you to be slaughtered by this guy, but you really did an amazing job. So, I'm really, really torn. Marcus, you came out, and you killed it like you always do -- amazing. I am a man of principle, and based on that, I will stand by my man. I'm sorry, but I have to send you home, Rachel."

"There's absolutely -- What's the point of even saying anything? The act I'm sending home, and I'm going to miss you, Marcus, you're going home, I'm afraid as far as I'm concerned," Cowell said.
Since Reid and Cowell both predictably voted to keep their own acts in the competition, the decision of who would get to continue on and sing next week was largely on Scherzinger and Abdul's shoulders.
"I just want to say first and foremost, this was the most unbelievable 'sing for your life' and I gotta tell you, you both did an amazing job. But if I'm being honest with my heart, I have to say the one who really blew me away was Rachel Crow. So, I have to send you home, Marcus," Abdul explained. "I am so sorry and I love you. You'll be on the charts, you will!"
"Please don't cry," Crow told Scherzinger, who started bawling when it became time for her to reveal her vote.
"I can't make this decision. Please, I can't make this decision, because I've been up there and I know how it feels and I love and adore both of you. I have to go with a deadlock, please," Scherzinger said.
"So, what are you saying? You want to send home Rachel Crow -- that will go to deadlock and America will decide?" Jones asked the judge. "You have to say it Nicole."
"I don't want to have to say that. I'm gonna, I don't want to -- I'm just gonna have to -- yeah. I don't want to send you home, Rachel. I just don't want to -- so I'm just going to -- the act that I have to send home is Rachel," a flustered Scherzinger confirmed.
Upon the announcement of Crow's ouster from the competition, Crow fell to her knees and completely broke down in tears and sobs. Cowell and her mother immediately ran up on the stage in attempt to console her.

"Look at me, it's okay. It's okay," her mother said.
"You promised me!" Crow said.
"I promise it's okay," Her mother assured.
"You promised," Crow sobbed.
Afterward, Cowell got the chance to express how he felt about Crow's elimination.
"I want to say that I want to thank everyone who voted for this young girl. I believe that she went out on the highest she could have gone out on and like I said, from the very first time I met you, we're going to be hearing a lot more about Rachel Crow. I'll give you my word on that," Cowell explained.
Jones then asked Scherzinger -- whom the audience was loudly booing -- if she would like to comment on the situation, but she declined the opportunity and shied away from the host in silence, as tears were streaming down her face.
