In this season, viewers watch as Da Band live and work under P. Diddy's close watch, promote their debut album "Too Hot For TV," develop their second album and learn to deal with fame. Will Da Band be able to meet P. Diddy's high expectations? As they rise to fame, will they be able to handle their own success and ride the wave, or will they be drawn under? Will jealousies emerge within the group and will they overcome their individual differences during this crucial time in their careers? Or will someone be kicked out?

The previous season of Making the Band 2 captured all of the drama between band members Sara Stokes, Babs, Freddrick, Young City, Dylan and Ness, as they lived together, signed their first record deal with Bad Boy Entertainment and worked under the guidance of P. Diddy. Viewers were privy to all of the behind-the-scenes decisions, challenges and rigorous work that are part of making a band.

The first installment of Making the Band, a real-life drama and breakthrough concept in music and television, chronicled the private and public moments of O-Town's five band members (Ashley Parker Angel, Erik-Michael Estrada, Dan Miller, Trevor Penick and Jacob Underwood) as they ascended into pop stardom.

MTV will produce the show in conjunction with Bad Boy Entertainment. Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, Ted Iredell and Jac Benson II will serve as executive producers. Jacquelyn French is the executive in charge of production for MTV and Phil Robinson is the producer for Bad Boy Entertainment.
