Thomas Jacobs is at the center of drama and confrontation on Katie Thurston's currently-airing season of The Bachelorette.

Thomas is a 28-year-old real estate broker from Poway, CA, and he's one of Katie's 18 remaining bachelors on Season 17.

Thomas appears to be a frontrunner and Katie seems smitten by his charm and good looks, but the other bachelors at the New Mexico resort are questioning Thomas' intentions and true motivation behind competing for Katie's heart.

While Thomas insisted he is developing real feelings for Katie -- and is even falling in love with her -- he admitted to going on the show for the platform and to boost his career.

Thomas also admitted on the latest episode he thought about potentially becoming The Bachelor's Season 26 star in 2022 when signing up for The Bachelorette's seventeenth season.

Aaron Clancy vented in a confessional after Thomas interrupted his alone time with Katie, "I find his behavior disturbing... At this point, I think Thomas is a cancer and I think he needs to be cut out until he's absolutely gone."

Aaron also called Thomas a "manipulative psychopath" and "sociopath," and many of the other guys viewed Thomas as a liar who acted fake with Katie, as if he had some type of campaign to drive.

It appears drama is going to come to a head in the next episode and Katie's bachelors will hold Thomas accountable for his actions.

Thomas works for Champions One Realty and has had three sales in the last 12 months, with the closing prices ranging from $625,000 to $1,150,000.

According to his Zillow profile, since 2016, Thomas has continued to excel among the top three percent of all real estate professionals earning his place in the coveted San Diego Association of Realtors, Circle of Excellence, year in and year out.

Thomas has also gained national recognition within Keller Williams International being selected to operate as southern California's social equality ambassador, where he leads community-education programs and promotes minority achievement in the real estate industry.

Thomas attended Cal State Northridge and played one season of basketball before transferring to his "dream school" of the University of San Diego, where he majored in Political Science.

The former athlete played basketball from 2013-2014 at the University of San Diego and averaged 2.7 points and three rebounds a game. However, he sat out the 2014-2015 season his senior year.

Thomas claims he knows exactly what he's looking for in a relationship

Thomas says a relationship is all about substance and true companionship.
