While Bravo has yet to officially renew Project Runway for a fifth season, fashion guru Tim Gunn said the show is already gearing up for its next installment.

A Bravo publicist did not respond to a request for confirmation on Gunn's statement, however not all Project Runway's prior additions actually began filming in June.
Project Runway's first and second editions -- which premiered in December 2004 and 2005, respectively -- filmed during the summer and then used February's annual New York Fall Fashion Week as its finale backdrop.
However Project Runway's third season -- which debuted in July 2006, only four months after the show's second-season finale aired -- began filming in May 2006 and used September's annual New York Spring Fashion Week as its October 2006 finale backdrop. Project Runway's fourth-season premiered last November after filming in the summer and resumed the tradition of using New York Fall Fashion Week as the show's finale backdrop.
Project Runway's two-part fourth-season finale began last night and saw the elimination of Chris March, with Rami Kashov, Jillian Lewis, Christian Siriano, and Kathleen "Sweet P" Vaughn still in the running for the show's grand prize. Project Runway's fourth-season winner will be revealed next Wednesday, March 5 at 10PM ET/PT.
According to Gunn, picking the winner wasn't easy.
"I'm so glad I wasn’t a judge," Gunn told The AP. "It truly was the stiffest competition we’ve ever had."
"The work is at such a high level and is so well executed, it really is a matter of taste," said Gunn. "It could go anywhere."
So far, Project Runway's fourth-season broadcasts have averaged 3.607 million total viewers and 2.529 million viewers in the Adults 18-49 demographic in its Wednesday at 10PM ET/PT time period.
