Little People, Big World's fourth season will premiere with a one-hour special in which Matt travels to Iraq to help a family with three dwarf children in desperate need of medical attention.

"The opportunity to help this family in Iraq was both humbling and exciting, especially seeing firsthand what our troops are going through. It's awe-inspiring," said Matt. "Even after all I've accomplished in my life, this experience has reminded me that we all face challenges, some more extreme than others, and we need to take every chance we have to make an impact in the world around us."

Following Matt's Iraq trip, the fourth season will continue with 20 additional episodes about the entire Roloff family.  In addition to documenting the Roloff home's continuing renovation, the season will also feature Matt coming up with some new plans for the family farm, twins Jeremy and Zach preparing for their high school graduations, Molly attempting to get her drivers' license, Jacob growing more interested in soccer, Amy realizing her children are growing up, and the entire family taking a Florida vacation.

"Little People, Big World will continue to share the big surprises and little moments that make the series one of the most engaging and addictive on TV today," said recently-appointed new TLC president Eileen O'Neill. "The series helps remind us of all we share in common, despite any differences we might have."
