Immediately following Say Yes to the Dress' second-season debut at 8:30PM ET/PT, TLC will air the premiere of Rock the Reception -- a new reality series that will follow two engaged couples as the rehearse a professionally choreographed routine to serve as the first dance at their wedding reception.

"This new hour on Tuesday nights is jam-packed with fun, and emphasizes what weddings should really be all about -- a unique celebration," said TLC programming executive Brent Zacky.

Say Yes to the Dress second-season subjects range from a bride-to-be who recently beat cancer to an indecisive woman who requires an astounding 16 fittings.  In addition, the Kleinfeld staff has also seen some slight changes from the show's first season -- including the inclusion of Randy, the business' only male fashion director.

"This second season of Say Yes to the Dress continues to feature women from all different backgrounds on the roller coaster ride that is finding the perfect dress," said Zacky.  "But this isn't a solo endeavor -- moms, family and friends always have a strong opinion too, which is what makes the process so exciting to watch."

Each episode of Rock the Reception will follow two engaged couples as they learn a choreographed production number from frequent So You Think You Can Dance guest judges and choreographers Napoleon and Tabitha D'Umo.

In addition, each couples' professionally-trained first dance is a surprise to the guests at their wedding, and viewers will see how those in attendance react.

"Rock the Reception brings a whole new twist on the traditional first dance, focusing on what has become the latest phenomenon in modern weddings," said Zacky.

Say Yes to the Dress is produced by Half Yard Productions, with Abby Greensfelder, Sean Gallegher and Nicole Sorrenti serving as executive producers.  Rock the Reception is produced by Brand New Entertainment, with Fernando J. Mills and Jude Weng serving as executive producers.

TLC renewed Say Yes to the Dress and began developing Rock the Reception in April as part of a re-branding effort focused on the network's "real-life" content, which included both new and returning programs packaged into themed nights of similar subject matter.
