The Baltimore Sun reported the properties at 1717, 1719 and 1721 Eastern Avenue in Fells Point -- which house the Prime Steakhouse -- are to be sold at a Sept. 16 foreclosure auction handled by Jonathan Melnick Auctioneers.

Dean, once a bright star in the culinary world, has already lost several restaurants to foreclosure amid legal and financial troubles. He also was the sixth contestant out of 17 to be booted from "Top Chef" earlier this year.

The Sun said Dean, who controls MTD Realty LLC, which owns the Eastern Avenue buildings, could not be reached for comment on his latest setback Sunday.
