Top Chef star Padma Lakshmi has reportedly cooked up a break up.

Lakshmi, 44, and Gere, 65, started their romance amid the actor's divorce from his wife of 11 years, Carey Lowell, and a source told Us in the spring they were "getting to know each other" and just "having fun."
The pair reportedly dated for six months but kept a very low profile in which they never discussed their relationship in public or allowed cameras to photograph them together.
"It started very recently and quietly. It's very new," the source said in April. "I wouldn't even go as far as calling them a couple. They are dating. It's the first time Padma has dated anyone since [Teddy Forstmann, who died in 2011], and it's something she's been approaching very, very delicately."
Lakshmi has a four-year-old daughter Krishna with her ex-boyfriend Adam Dell. Prior to dating the late Forstmann, the celebrity chef had been married to writer Salman Rushdie for three years.
Gere had a four-year marriage with supermodel Cindy Crawford that ended in 1995. He wed again but separated from Lowell in September 2013. During their relationship, Gere and Lowell welcomed a son Homer, who is now a teenager.
