Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi has become a mom.

Lakshmi had announced her pregnancy in October after struggling with endometriosis for years.
"As a result of her condition, this pregnancy has been referred to by her physician as nothing short of a medical miracle," her representative told Us Weekly at the time.
The 39-year-old divorced Nobel Prize-winning author Salman Rushdie in 2007 after three years of marriage and has declined to identify the baby's father.
Endometriosis is the development of uterine-lining tissue outside the uterus on the surfaces of organs in the pelvis or abdomen (such as the ovaries and appendix) where they are not supposed to grow, and it can lead to infertility.
It is a common medical condition found in 5-10% of women of reproductive age around the world. Dancing with the Stars professionals Julianne Hough and Lacy Schwimmer were both diagnosed with it in 2008.
Last year, Lakshmi co-founded the Endometriosis Foundation of America to create awareness about the health issue.
