Darian Ellis, a 5' 9" 22-year-old student from Baton Rouge, LA attending Louisiana State University, was ousted from the competition after she found herself in the bottom two based upon her total combined scores from Top Model's three judges and home viewers' fan vote.

"I'm very disappointed. I'm devastated, but when Tyra told me that I would be able to have the chance of coming back, I'm excited about that. I'm just sad about being eliminated, period. You're going to fall sometimes, but I can come back and I can win this. I know I can," said Darian, who was told she'd get to participate in most of the upcoming photo shoots against previously and future-eliminated girls in attempt to gain the highest social media score and earn a spot back in the competition.

In addition, Maria Tucker, a 5' 7 1/4" 22-year-old student and mobile editor of AdMonsters from Las Cruces, NM attending Harvard Divinity School, decided to quit the competition mid-episode because not only did she decline a makeover and posing nude in the week's photo shoot, but she also realized modeling just wasn't her thing.

"Modeling is just not for me. I don't feel it in my heart. This isn't what I want to do. I don't feel passionate about it, so I'm actually going to withdraw from the competition," Maria explained.

Darian landed in the bottom two alongside Yvonne, a 5' 8 1/2" 20-year-old student from Minneapolis, MN attending the University of Texas at Austin, after the photo shoot, which had required each girl to pose nude with male model and Top Model judge Rob Evans in or outside of a garden for fashion photographer Tony Duran.

During that photo shoot, Maria seemed down in the dumps before her turn approached. When Top Model creative consultant Johnny Wujek asked her what was wrong, she opened up to him and then made the decision to leave the competition.

"I don't think I'm into it enough. If I was into it enough, I would've let them cut my hair," Maria told Johnny when she was on deck to begin her nude photo shoot.

"Into the shoot or into being here?" Johnny asked.

"I think into being here. I've been trying to convince myself, 'You want to model. That's what you want to do, but...'" Maria started.

"You're realizing it's not?" Johnny interjected.

"I don't think so. There are a lot of things I want to do in life, and maybe modeling is one of them, but it's not the only thing. Tyra trusted me," Maria said in tears.

"Yeah, Tyra's a big fan. You're a Harvard girl! I mean, we all were so excited for you to be here and I see such potential," Johnny explained.

"I just don't think it's for me," Maria suggested.

"So what does that mean?" Johnny asked.

"I think I really want to go home," Maria said.

America's Next Top Model: College Edition's judges gave Darian a total of 16 points for the photo shoot. She received five points from Kelly Cutrone, four points from Rob and seven points from Tyra Banks. Darian also earned 4.78 points from the fans, making her overall score 20.78.

Yvonne earned a total of 16 points from the judges. Kelly gave her four points, Rob gave her six and Tyra thought she deserved six points as well. Added to her score of 4.81 from the fan vote, Yvonne was revealed to be safe thanks to her overall score of 20.81. Tyra noted the fact Darian and Yvonne's overall scores were incredibly close.

Victoria Henley, a 5' 9 1/2" 18-year-old student from Colquitt, GA attending Liberty University, received the first call-out in Tyra's line of best to the worst scores of the week. She had an overall score of 34.2 -- which included a 6.2 score from the fans, two nine's from Kelly and Rob and a 10 from Tyra.

Following Victoria, Tyra then revealed Brittany Brown, Leila Goldkuhl, Laura James, Nastasia Scott, Kristin Kagay, Destiny Strudwick, and Kiara Belen had also advanced in the competition in that particular order.

Also during the episode, the girls were given the chance to determine whether they'd like to receive a makeover. Each contestant had to agree to get a new look or turn down the opportunity before knowing how their hair was going to be styled. Maria and Victoria both sternly turned down makeovers, but Victoria was regretful of her choice in the end and apologized to the Top Model judges for disappointing them.
