TV Land announced Tuesday that it has picked up the U.S. reality series "High School Reunion" for a third season.
More than 1 million people have been watching the current season, which airs its final episode Wednesday, the network said.
The next season will consist of eight episodes and feature a cast made up of members of Las Vegas' Chaparral High School's Class of 1989. It is set to debut in the third quarter of 2009 on TV Land during TV Land PRIME, the network's prime time destination block.
"We are so happy that 'High School Reunion' continues to resonate with our viewers and remains one of TV Land's most popular original series," Larry W. Jones, president of TV Land, said in a statement. "Viewers can't get enough of the drama and romance that comes when these classmates share their emotional and intimate stories from high school and everything else in between."
