Skupin, who reportedly started a new financial sharing business called "Pay it forward" after his Survivor stints, was arraigned Friday for these charges and faces a $350,000 bond.
Fox 2 obtained a statement from officials regarding the father of seven's arrest. Skupin allegedly robbed people "of their hard earned savings with his financial scams" and "victimized innocent children" by looking at pieces of child pornography on his laptop.
Skupin, a motivational speaker and author, originally competed on Survivor: The Australian Outback in 2001 but was medically evacuated from the game on Day 17 after he fell into his camp's fire and severely burned his hands.
Skupin got a second chance to play on Survivor: Philippines in 2012 and made it all the way to the finale. However, Denise Stapley won the season and Skupin tied for the runner-up spot with former castaway Lisa Whelchel.
