A coat seized from the British "Big Brother" house after its owner bragged it was made of gorilla fur has turned out to be monkey fur.

Police seized the coat after authorities were flooded with complaints from "Big Brother" viewers.
Experts at the Natural History Museum concluded the coat was made from black and white colobus monkeys, probably in the 1930s or 1940s.
The import of colobus monkey fur was outlawed in 1975, but it is not illegal to own the fur, the BBC said.
Police said the coat would be returned to Burns.
