Several former reality contestants received nods when nominations for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards were announced on Wednesday night.

Underwood is looking to claim her fourth consecutive victory in the Best Female Country Vocal Performance category. She claimed the award in 2007 for "Jesus, Take the Wheel," in 2008 for "Before He Cheats," and last year for "Las Name."
In addition, she also won Best New Artist in 2007.
Nashville Star first-season finalist Miranda Lambert will compete against Underwood in the Best Female Country Vocal Performance category, as her song "Dead Flowers" received a nod.
American Idol first-season winner Kelly Clarkson received a nomination in Best Pop Vocal Album category for "All I Ever Wanted," which she released in March.
Both of Clarkson's previous Grammy wins came in 2006, when she took home Best Female Pop Vocal Performance honors for "Since U Been Gone" and Best Pop Vocal Album for "Breakaway."
In addition, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List star Kathy Griffin received a nomination in the Best Comedy Album category for the second consecutive year -- this time for "Suckin' It For The Holidays."
Her comedy album "For Your Consideration" lost in the category last year to George Carlin's "It's Bad For Ya."
The Celebrity Apprentice first-season runner-up Trace Adkins also received two nominations -- as his song "All I Ask For Anymore" received nods in the Best Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song categories.
The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday, January 31 at 8PM ET/PT on CBS.
