Khalood Bojanowski, an Iraqi-Catholic-50-year-old mother who makes up half of one of the three mother-son teams on the NBC show, recently notified police with concerns for her safety after the show debuts on December 16, the New York Post reported on Friday.
According to the Post, Bojanowski's house in Washington Township, MI was recently broken into and was followed by the sudden death of her German shepherd dog. With Momma's Boy's premiere date nearing on December 16, Bojanowski reportedly felt that her dog may have been poisoned and is worried that she may incur additional abuse once her comments are broadcast on television.
"She told our people . . . that she was going to be on a reality show and that she may have made some statements or something," Captain. Tony Wickersham of the Macomb County Sheriff's Office told the Post.
The Sheriff's Office told the Post that it does not believe the break-in or the death of Bojanowski's dog have anything to do with the TV show.

Momma's Boy features three mothers and son teams as they move in with 32 single women made up of both "nice" and "bad" girls. Throughout the show's six episodes, the men narrow down the woman to their match as their mothers look on.
Many of the potentially offensive statements by Bojanowski reportedly occur in the show's premiere episode, when she is listing the types of qualities she would like to see -- or not see -- in her 21-year-old son Jojo's mate.
"I cannot have a black one; I can't have an Asian one; I can't have a fat-butt girl," Bojanowski states in the show, according to the Post.
Bojanowski also reportedly makes remarks concerning the Jewish girls on the show.
"Nooo! No Jewish girl! No way, no way!" she says, according to the Post. "I cannot stand them! I'm sorry, but I can't handle them. It has to be a white girl."

The Post also reported that, in one of the show's later episodes, Bojanowski reacts angrily after watching Jojo make out with a black woman in a hot tub.
"I'm going to kill him, that's what I'm going to do!" she yells, according to the Post. "I'm going to strangle his balls! I swear, I'm ready to kill somebody!"
The Post also reported that, after the hot tub scene, She confronts the black woman and tells her: "Don't ever put your freakin' lips on my kid!"
Momma's Boys was first announced back in May and was originally supposed to have debuted "on the heels" of NBC's August coverage of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. However the network subsequently decided to delay the show's premiere three times, first until October 29, and then November 12 before settling on a December 16 premiere date.
According to the Post, sources speculate that the show's debut was shifted away from October 29 because of Bojanowski's comments airing days before the Presidential election, which featured racial issues as a prominent talking point. However, the claim was called untrue by an NBC source.
