Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval was caught lying to Lisa Vanderpump about Raquel Leviss sleeping at his home while Ariana Madix was away in a preview clip of the show's next episode.

Tom had cheated on his girlfriend of nearly a decade, Ariana, for over six months with Raquel, and their affair came to light in early March.

Tom and Ariana split after Tom's infidelity made headlines, and both Tom and Raquel have since issued public apologies for their actions.

Bravo recently released a lengthy clip of Vanderpump Rules' upcoming Season 10 episode airing Wednesday, May 3, and Tom and Raquel apparently find themselves in a sticky situation.

"Don't even get me started on Tom Sandoval. You know Raquel slept at Sandoval's that night, right?" Lala Kent asks James Kennedy in the footage that was filmed back in September 2022, long before Ariana knew about Tom's betrayal.

"How do you know about this?" James asks.

"Because [Katie Maloney] called me last night," Lala says.

Lala proceeds to narrate for the cameras: "So let's get this straight. A few days ago, Katie was at Villa Rosa, working on sandwiches, while Ariana was back home at her grandmother's funeral. They are tasting sandwiches when [Lisa's husband Ken Todd] walks out and drops the mother of all gossip bombs."

Ken then reveals, "I can't believe that Tom Sandoval had Raquel over when Ariana was away, in the jacuzzi as well... and she stayed all night!"

After Lisa complains Raquel was "late" to a meeting because she was "hungover," Lala explains to viewers, "The day before, Lisa is doing a tasting for the new menu at SUR when Raquel rolls up an hour and a half late."

Raquel is then shown apologizing to her boss for having "overslept," adding, "I stayed up late and I went back to Tom's place and we went in the jacuzzi with Schwartz."

Raquel confirms in the clip that she slept at Tom's, and she insists, "Nothing happened though."

"It doesn't matter whether anything happened," Lisa claps back. "It's just the fact that you were there."

"I know it looks bad. I know," Raquel confesses, before adding, "It was just easier to sleep on the couch and stay the night."

Lala boasts in the narration how Lisa "can sniff bullsh-t from a mile away," and so Lisa is then shown calling Tom on the phone, demanding to know the truth about what went down at his house.

"I'm calling you because Raquel has just shown up here, an hour and a half late, looking like a bag of sh-t," Lisa says. "She said she got so wasted last night and ended up spending the night at your house. That's not funny."

Tom explains via FaceTime, "We hung out for a little bit, she literally dipped out. Like, I don't know, actually, she left early."

Lisa, realizing Tom is telling her a different story from Raquel's excuse, asks, "Wait a second -- so she didn't stay the night?"

"I said she dipped out, which is true," Tom claims. "She dipped out."

"What does dipped out mean?" Lisa asks, before pleading for clarification. "So did she spend the night at your house? Did she or not, yes or no?"

"Yes," Tom finally admits. "But, like, dude..."

"I'm not dude," Lisa fires back.

Tom, clearly frustrated, concludes, "I have people crash at my house all the time!"

A source told Us Weekly on March 3 that Tom and Ariana had been "having problems for a while." The insider claimed the pair's relationship "only came to a breaking point" the day prior to their split on March 1.

Raquel checked herself into a treatment facility for the sake of her mental health last month in the aftermath of her highly publicized and scandalous affair with co-star Tom. Raquel's representative told Us that the Bravo reality TV star checked into rehab, but not for substance abuse issues.

Despite Tom and Raquel's public apologies, Raquel and Tom have reportedly been spotted together several times since Vanderpump Rules' Season 10 reunion was filmed on March 23.

"We're really good friends. We are not putting any label on it," Tom reportedly said on the April 11 episode of the "Howie Mandel Does Stuff" podcast.

Tom also shared how his romance with Raquel started with a kiss in August 2022 that felt "magnetic."

"I felt something that I hadn't felt in so long emotionally," Tom explained.

"The feelings were something very, very strong. Those feelings that I had started to take over in a sense. Logic went out the window. Because I wasn't experiencing that [with Ariana] -- I hadn't experienced that [before]."

Tom claimed that he had attempted to break up with Ariana once he realized he had strong feelings for Raquel.

"Like many relationships, it felt like it became more of like a best friends, family [thing] -- sometimes roommates," Tom continued.

"There were a lot of ways where the relationship was just lacking the intimacy, the connection. We would travel more by ourselves than we would together. I would go to weddings by myself."

Tom said his communication with Raquel was frequent and their connection was pretty strong right up until he confessed the affair to Ariana.

"I was seeing Raquel as often as I could. I know that sounds horrible," Tom admitted.

"And FaceTiming her all the time. And Ariana didn't even notice because that's just how separate our lives were. I had to actually tell her, 'How have you not noticed how distant I've been lately?'"

Ariana joined the cast of Vanderpump Rules in November 2013, and then she and Tom announced they were officially dating during the Season 2 reunion that aired in February 2014.

Raquel began dating James in 2016, and the pair got engaged in May 2021. However, the couple broke up in December of that year.

Raquel proceeded to go on dates with Peter Madrigal in Summer 2022 before hooking up with Tom Schwartz, who had split from Katie, during August of that year.
