However they called it quits in 2002, as Salt sought-out religion and Pepa turned to reality television, appearing in VH1's The Surreal Life 5 in 2005 and placing third on The Surreal Life: Fame Games this past spring.
The Salt 'N Pepa Show will follow the duo as they attempt to reunite both as friends and musical collaborators -- which is apparently easier said than done -- as Salt lives the quiet life in Long Island, NY with her husband and is still angry about being underappreciated while Pepa continues to party and places the blame on Salt for breaking up the group in the first place.
The Salt 'N Pepa Show is executive produced by Banks Tarver and Ken Druckerman for Left/Right Inc., with Michael Hirschorn, Shelly Tatro and Danielle Gelfand serving as executive producers for VH1.
