Borrowing a page from The Real World challenges broadcast on its MTV sister network, VH1 has reportedly ordered The Surreal Life: Fame Games, an all-star elimination edition of The Surreal Life that will feature previous Surreal Life cast members competing for a $100,000 prize.

Hosted by former Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous host Robin Leach and set in Las Vegas, the ten-episode The Surreal Life: Fame Games will pit the former Surreal Life housemates against one another in challenges based around the world of fame and showbiz.
According to Daily Variety, "Red Carpet Fashion Showdown," "Paparazzi Hide-and-Seek," "Hotel Room Trash-a-thon" and "What's Charo Saying?" are some of the challenge themes under consideration. Filming is expected to begin in March, with VH1 tentatively scheduled to premiere the show in late summer or early fall.
While Variety's report didn't reveal if the celebrities will be eliminated based on challenge performance, cast voting, or -- like The Real World's challenges -- some combination of both, the paper did reveal the names of eight of Fame Game's participants: Emmanuel Lewis (Season 1), Ron Jeremy (Season 2), Traci Bingham (Season 2), Vanilla Ice (Season 2), Brigitte Nielsen (Season 3), Chyna Doll (Season 4), Sandra "Pepa" Denton (Season 5) and C.C. DeVille (Season 6.)
Originally scheduled to debut last month and later moved to March 12, The Surreal Life 6 -- the edition in which DeVille will participate -- is now scheduled to premiere on March 19. In addition to DeVille, The Surreal Life 6 will also include former The Jeffersons star Sherman Helmsley (aka George Jefferson), Smashmouth singer Steve Harwell, 1980's Whitesnake video vixen Tawny Kitaen, Playboy TV covergirl Andrea Lowell, drag performer Alexis Arquette, and a still-undisclosed "reality TV hunk."
