Vienna Girardi says her miscarriage made her fear losing future children.
The former "The Bachelor" Season 14 winner opened up in a joint interview with her mom on Thursday's episode of "The Doctors" about miscarrying her twin daughters in August.
"Everyday there's constant reminders. I'm trying so hard to move past it, but it just seems impossible to stop thinking about it," Girardi said.
"The scariest part is, after you have a miscarriage, you start thinking, 'Am I never going to be able to have kids again? Is this going to happen again?'" she shared.
"And with the surgery that I went through ... one of the things they said was, 'You may not be able to have children again.'"
Girardi was 18 weeks pregnant when she miscarried her daughters due to twin to twin transfusion syndrome.
She said her doctor ultimately gave her good news about her ability to get pregnant in the future.
"When I woke up, one of the first things I asked my mom is, 'Am I going to get pregnant again?'" the star recounted.
"She looked at me and said, 'Yes, the doctor said everything went smoothly and you will be able to get pregnant.'"

"I appreciate all your support and all the prayers over the last few months. #twinangelbabies," she wrote.
Girardi split from "The Bachelor" star Jake Pavelka in 2010 after getting engaged to the pilot on the Season 14 finale. She has not shared the identity of her twins' father.
