Vienna Girardi says her miscarriage made her fear losing future children.
"Everyday there's constant reminders. I'm trying so hard to move past it, but it just seems impossible to stop thinking about it," Girardi said.
"The scariest part is, after you have a miscarriage, you start thinking, 'Am I never going to be able to have kids again? Is this going to happen again?'" she shared.
"And with the surgery that I went through ... one of the things they said was, 'You may not be able to have children again.'"
Girardi was 18 weeks pregnant when she miscarried her daughters due to twin to twin transfusion syndrome. She said her doctor ultimately gave her good news about her ability to get pregnant in the future.
"When I woke up, one of the first things I asked my mom is, 'Am I going to get pregnant again?'" the star recounted.
Girardi thanked fans for their support in an Instagram post prior to her appearance on "The Doctors."
"I appreciate all your support and all the prayers over the last few months. #twinangelbabies," she wrote.
Girardi split from "The Bachelor" star Jake Pavelka in 2010 after getting engaged to the pilot on the Season 14 finale. She has not shared the identity of her twins' father.
