Wells Adams has opened up about whether he'd be interested in starring on The Bachelor next season.

"Hmmm... I don't know. That's a conversation that I'd have to have with my family," the 33-year-old radio host told Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti on the pair's Almost Famous podcast.

Wells has been a fan-favorite bachelor from the franchise ever since he competed for JoJo Fletcher on The Bachelorette in 2016. Although he failed to find lasting love on Bachelor in Paradise last summer, he returned to Mexico for Paradise this year to serve as the bartender.

The only catch to this fun gig? Wells is off-limits to the ladies in Paradise, meaning the rules say he's undateable, despite bachelorettes such as Amanda Stanton admitting she would have loved to ask him out and get to know him better.

Because he is so well-liked and known for being a sweetheart with the right intentions, would he be up for the leading role of the Bachelor?

"I think, I don't know, that's not something that I take lightly. I don't know if I would do that, to be honest with you. I think it's like, it might be nice to be asked to the prom, but I don't know if I'd really want to go," Wells said of the potential opportunity to star on Season 22 in 2018.

Host Chris Harrison recently revealed the Bachelor won't be decided until more of Bachelor in Paradise's fourth season unfolds on TV. The Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss hinted this week that Rachel Lindsay's runner-up from The Bachelorette, Peter Kraus, would not be a good option -- leaving the door open for many other possible stars.

But for now, viewers are just enjoying watching Wells in his bartender role on Bachelor in Paradise.

"First of all, I want to get something out there because I feel like a lot of people don't realize this: Jorge is not like gone from the show at all," Wells said of the infamous bartender he replaced.

Jorge, who is starting his own tour company in Mexico "just has, like, another cooler job actually," Wells continued. "Like he got promoted in Paradise and I came to replace him. So if you guys think that Jorge is not going to be seen on the show, that's crazy."

Wells also joked with Ben and Ashley on their podcast that in Paradise, he's first a counselor, second a drink maker, and third a sunscreen applier.

And as for his relationship status, Wells revealed he is currently single.
