"This is the party I've always wanted to throw," London told Variety. "Whether you stay for the night or you watch before you go out, you're not going to be sorry you stopped."
In addition to offering her fashion expertise on The Today Show and Oprah, London has co-hosted What Not to Wear alongside Clinton Kelly since TLC imported the reality makeover series from Britain. When What Not to Wear's makeover subjects reveal the results of their makeover, London is known to routinely shout "Shut up," which is where the title for her new talk show originated.
"[Shut Up! It's Stacy London] is a natural extension of TLC's dominance in great style and relationship advice, combining a proven star and trusted expert in Stacy London with a new way of delivering the information and trends our viewers crave," Christian Drobnyk, TLC's senior vice president of programming and development, told Variety.
According to Variety, TLC will air the hour-long pilot of Shut Up! It's Stacy London featuring actresses Jane Krakowski and Lisa Rinna, shoe designer Kristen Lee and author Ron Geraci on Friday, April 6 at 10PM ET. The talk show will regularly air on Fridays following What Not to Wear.
Shut Up! It's Stacy London is produced by BBC Productions USA. It is executive produced by London, Abigail Harvey, Vicki Barrass and Pamela Deutsch.
