Whitney Bischoff has confirmed she is dating a new guy and their relationship is going extremely well.

After Bischoff, 30, posted a New Year's Eve photo of herself looking cozy with a mystery man, rumors started flying she's got a new boyfriend.

So when Bischoff called into Bachelor Live on Monday night following Season 20's premiere of The Bachelor featuring Ben Higgins, host Chris Harrison asked the Chicago-based fertility nurse about her love life.

"I am very, very lucky," Chris Soules' ex-fiancee told Harrison over the phone. "I've met a great man, and I am the happiest I've ever been. I'm really looking forward to a great 2016."

The man has been identified as Ricky Angel, and according to his LinkedIn page, he's a college baseball player and Illinois native who works in sales and risk management.

The romance appears to be fresh, because back in October, Bischoff told Us Weekly she was "casually dating."

"I don't know that I have a specific person that I'm looking for. I think that in general it's someone who makes me a better person, makes me happy, makes me laugh and shares a common interest. So I don't know if there's a big stereotype with that," the nineteenth-season The Bachelor contestant said at the time.

Bischoff, 30, and Soules, 34, got engaged at the conclusion of his The Bachelor edition but split in May 2015 -- only two months after their engagement aired on the show's finale and a matter of weeks after Soules completed his stint on Dancing with the Stars.

"We never even really got to that point where [living in Iowa] was the issue. Some relationships work and some don't," Soules told Hollywood Life late last year.

"We ended amicably and continue to be friends. I'm ready to date, but... after you date 30 women over a two month period and having an engagement and have all of that take place -- I think any human being would want to take a little time to just sort of gather their thoughts and get back to real life."
