The former The Hills and The City star has welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with husband Tim Rosenman.
Whitney, 32, shared the big news with her fans Monday, July 31 on her Instagram account and blog.
"Sorry I've been MIA for like a week! I lost my phone. Just kidding!! I made a human! Sonny Sanford Rosenman was born on 7/27/17!! Everyone is so happy and healthy and we are home now," Whitney captioned an Instagram image that reads, "Welcome Baby Sonny," in paint.
"I'm going to try my very best to not be one of those moms whose feed is dominated by their baby, but I can totally see how difficult it will be not to. I am beyond obsessed and in love and wish I could bottle this feeling for all of you out there... Welcome our little one to the world!!"

In her blog post, Whitney revealed she had delivered Sonny at 12:30AM on Thursday morning.
"Timmy and I named the little man Sonny and I'm in love. I just want to talk about how I'm feeling. We've all heard mothers give the same speech about how life-changing the love for your baby is, and it's not like I didn't believe it or anything, but I guess I couldn't actually connect to those exact feelings until the doctor placed Sonny onto my chest," Whitney explained.
"I love him and feel protective over him, but more than anything, I'm just, like, obsessed. I can't stop looking at him, or thinking about him when I am in another room. It's a bit like getting a toy you really really wanted as a child. There was all the anticipation and build up, and then you open it and you love it."
Whitney added, "Unlike the toy, however, I am obviously never going to get sick of Sonny, and he poops."
Whitney said that all kidding aside, her heart had to grow to accommodate all of this extra love she's going to give her child.

"I don't care if this is sappy or trite and I don't want to say that I love him more than anything ever because I love Timmy and my family. It's not about loving him more than something else I love. It's just awesome. I can't wait to watch him change and grow and take on my traits and Timmy's," Whitney wrote in her blog.
Whitney announced her pregnancy via Instagram in February 2017 by posting a photo of her tiny baby bump.
Whitney married Tim in Palm Springs, CA, in early November 2015, two years after getting engaged in November 2013. The couple met on the set of The City, which followed the premiere of The Hills series on MTV. Tim worked as an associate producer on The City at the time.
Whitney's former The Hills co-star, Lauren Conrad, just welcomed her first child, a son, with husband William Tell in July. Fellow show alum Heidi Montag also has a baby on the way with her husband Spencer Pratt.
The Hills aired on MTV from May 2006 to July 2010. The City ran from December 2008 to July 2010.
