Les Twins, a hip-hop duo of identical twin brothers from Paris, France, won World of Dance's $1 million grand prize by defeating the show's runner-up Eva Igo, a powerhouse contemporary dancer from Inver Grove Heights, MN, by only one-tenth of a point on a scale from 1-100.
Swing Latino, a salsa act from Cali, Colombia, finished "The World Final" round in third place.
"The World Final" featured the Top dance act in each of the three divisions -- Junior (any size act ages 17 and under), Upper (acts from 1-4 people ages 18 and older), and Team (groups of 5 or more dancers ages 18 and older -- battling it out to win the competition.
Each finalist performed twice to receive an average total score from the judges, which ultimately decided the winner. Each judge scored a routine between 1-20 points in five different categories, making the highest possible score for a dance 100 points.

The judges are World of Dance executive producer and former American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez, Grammy Award-winning singer Ne-Yo, and six-time Dancing with the Stars champion Derek Hough. Each judge mentored a division in this last round.
Les Twins from the Upper division kicked off the show, and Jennifer selected the song "Stole the Show" for their first dance because she said stole the show each week from the start of the competition. For this dance, the pair received a total score of 93 points -- 92 points from both Ne-Yo and Jennifer, as well as 95 points from Derek.
For Swing Latino's first performance representing the Team division, Derek picked "Conga" by Gloria Estefan. The judges agreed their energy, passion and commitment were infectious although the routine wasn't as clean as it could have been in certain spots.
After performing this routine, Swing Latino earned 91 points from Ne-Yo, 89 points from Jennifer, and 95 points from Derek for a total of 91.7 points.
Ne-Yo chose the song "In the Air Tonight" for Eva from the Junior division to dance to. She matured greatly through the competition and tapped something inside herself to become an artist. In Jennifer's opinion, Eva won the show just because of that.

Eva received 90 points from Ne-Yo and Jennifer, as well as 93 points from Derek for her first routine, giving her a total of 91 points.
Eva took the stage first in the second round, and it was a huge comeback because her choreography was lacking in her first dance.
Ne-Yo recognized a "ferocious" beast in Eva when she performs and said she rocked it as the only soloist in the competition. For her second dance, Eva earned 95 points from Ne-Yo, 96 points from Jennifer And 98 points from Derek for a total of 96.3 points.
That made Eva's average score for the entire night 93.7 points.
Swing Latino was up next with their second routine of the night. They were the loudest group by far and always proved to be entertaining with such a high difficulty level of choreography and stunts. The judges scored them a total of 94.7 points -- 93 points from Ne-Yo, 95 points from Jennifer, and 96 points from Derek.

Swing Latino's average score for the whole night was 93.2 points, so that meant Eva was either going to finish in first or second place depending on what Les Twins were going to bring to the table.
Les Twins closed out the show with their second routine of the night, and the judges were either expecting the duo to crack under pressure or completely blow everyone away.
The guys made a Michael Jackson hit their own and Derek could feel every movement they made. Derek said the twins created "an invisible energy" they could somehow see, and Jennifer noted they're perfect together although they're like oil and vinegar.
Jennifer explained that Eva "smashed" her final routine, but Les Twins also delivered a "powerful" performance.
Les Twins then received their scores for their last routine on World of Dance -- 94 points from Ne-Yo, 97 points from Jennifer, and 93 points from Derek for a total of 94.7 points.
