World of Dance has revealed the 47 dance acts who will be competing on the new NBC reality competition series.

The show, a partnership with the World of Dance dance brand, will bring the world's elite dancers together to compete in "epic battles of artistry, precision and athleticism" for a $1 million grand prize, according to the network.
Handpicked from qualifying events around the nation and thousands of online submissions, the 47 acts will be divided into three divisions: Junior (any size act under 17-years-old), Upper (groups from 1-4 people ages 18 and older) and Team (groups of 5 or more people ages 18 and older).
Acts will range from solo artists to duos and crews who may perform hip-hop, krumping, popping, locking, tap, ballet, break dancing, ballroom, clogging, stomping and more.
The judging panel of experts will be comprised of executive producer Jennifer Lopez, longtime Dancing with the Stars professional dancer Derek Hough, and Grammy Award-winning singer Ne-Yo, who will score each act using a point system with the following criteria: Performance, technique, choreography, creativity, and presentation.

The competition will consist of five rounds -- Qualifiers, Duels, The Cut, Divisional Final and the World Final.
In the first four rounds of the 10-episode series, the dancer acts -- which include former winners of Fox's So You Think You Can Dance, MTV's America's Best Dance Crew, and CBS' Live to Dance, as well as former America's Got Talent finalists -- only compete within their division.
However, in the World Final, the winner from each division will compete against each other for the $1 million grand prize and the title of "Best in the World" on the show's finale.
World of Dance is set to premiere Monday, May 8 from 10-11PM ET/PT. Beginning Tuesday, May 30, the show will move to Tuesday nights at 10PM ET/PT and follow America's Got Talent's broadcast.
