World of Dance kicked off "The Cut" and advanced two acts in the Junior Division to the next round during Tuesday night's broadcast of the new NBC reality competition series.

Tuesday night's episode featured the beginning of "The Cut" round in which the 15 remaining dance acts must fight for only two spots in each of the divisions -- Junior (any size act ages 17 and under), Upper (groups from 1-4 people ages 18 and older) and Team (groups of 5 or more dancers ages 18 and older).
Five acts were left in each division after "The Duels," so by the end of The Cut round, only two acts will remain in each division. The two acts whose performances receive the highest total of judges' points in each division will move on to "The Divisional Final." After that phase of the competition, a $1 million winner will be determined in "The World Final."
In The Cut round, each judge mentors one of the divisions one-on-one, with iconic ballerina Misty Copeland serving as a guest judge on the panel that is comprised of executive producer Jennifer Lopez, Grammy Award-winning singer Ne-Yo, and six-time Dancing with the Stars champion Derek Hough.
Jennifer mentored the Junior division in last night's episode, and the two dance acts who advanced to "The Divisional Final" were Eva Igo, a contemporary dancer from Inver Grove Heights, MN, and Diana Pombo, a contemporary dancer from Miami, FL.

Eva topped the leaderboard for the Junior division in first place with a total of 92.5 points from the judges for her powerful routine that the judges raved about.
Eva received 90 points from Ne-Yo, 92 points from Jennifer, a whopping 95 points from Misty, and 93 points from Derek. Eva was told she inspires young girls everywhere and Misty was blown away by the articulation in her feet when she dances.
Diana received the next highest score of 92 points. The judges told her that she's mature beyond her years as a performer and her vulnerability shines through her entire body.
Diana walked away from the night with 91 points from Ne-Yo, 93 points from Jennifer, 94 points from Misty, and 90 points from Derek.
The three dance acts who were eliminated from the Junior division as a result were The Lab, a hip-hop act from Los Angeles, CA; The Mihacevich Sisters, a contemporary act from Brunswick, OH; and Immabeast, a hip-hop act from Los Angeles, CA.

The Lab's energy was incredible and they're one of the cleanest groups on the show, but they only received a total of 86 points from the judges -- 87 from Ne-Yo, 84 from Jennifer, 85 from Misty, and 88 from Derek.
The Mihacevich Sisters earned a total of 85.5 points after receiving 84 points from Ne-Yo, 85 points from Jennifer, 85 points from Misty, and 88 points from Derek.
Immabeast only received a total of 84.2 points from the judges, and the judges' individual scores were not shown.
Tuesday night's broadcast also featured the start of "The Cut" round for the Team division mentored by Ne-Yo.
Swing Latino, a salsa act from Cali, Colombia, took the stage and delivered tricks that were "out of this world," according to the judges.

Super Cr3w, a breakdance act from Las Vegas, NV, also performed. Derek was amazed by the crew's routine, but the other judges thought the execution could've been better.
Ne-Yo scored the group 86 points, Jennifer gave Super Cr3w 85 points, Misty scored them 89 points, and Derek gave the group 95 points, which gave Super Cr3w a total of 88.8 points.
Three more World of Dance acts in the Team division will perform next week to determine the two highest-scoring acts who will advance to "The Divisional Final." And later, America will watch the Upper division compete for two spots in the next round.
