Plot

The story starts with a monologue by David Abraham, IPS (Prithviraj) during Christmas night. When he leaves a party, he gets involved in an accident with Shan(Vinay Forrt) and Vinu(Anu Mohan). David takes them to hospital for treating Vinu's injury which he sustained while falling down from the bike. From the hospital Vinu escapes, to Shan's horror. David starts to suspect that there is something wrong. But Shan says there is no problem and David drops him at his place. Then he notices that Vinu has dropped his wallet in his jeep.

Next day morning David hears that Vinu has committed suicide. He decides to investigate the whole affair starting by confronting Shan at his residence. Shan's place is thrashed and he is beaten by Charlie's goons who works for Christopher Moriarty.

Shan recounts the story of his friends - Eby(Tovino Thomas), Jessica aka Jessy (Janani Iyer), Cycle(Praveen Prem) and Vinu. Vinu runs an internet cafe. Cycle is the son of a gulf-returnee with a lot of financial problems. Shan is a local correspondent for a newspaper. Eby and Jessica grew up together in an orphanage, and Vinu has a special intrest for Jessica and Jessica to him. One day, Vinu's internet cafe is raided by the police looking for some stuff. Since they couldn't find anything, the police returns without saying anything to Vinu. That night, Vinu's house is raided by a goon named, Charlie(Yog Japee), who is commissioned by Christopher to locate a missing sum of Rs. 1.75 crores. They suspect that Vinu took the money from them and gives 36 hours to surrender the money to him.

Shan and Eby are surprised to hear this news from Vinu. They realize that it is useless to resist Christopher as he is a ruthless don. Then Cycle comes and says that it was him who has taken the money. He hides it in his abandoned tea factory. Relieved to hear that the money is still with them, they go the next morning to reclaim the money. To their horror they find that the bag is empty.

So they decide to abscond for a while to escape from Christopher. They split and leaves to a lodge. Vinu and Shan gets attacked by Charlie that night. They escape Charlie after a long struggle. But they get separated.

David, then visits Vinu's mother to get more details about the incident. She tells him that Vinu was worried for the past one week but she has no clue why he ended his life like that. On his way out, David sees that the body of Vinu is cremated in the front yard with out a flame running.

The police inspector informs him that Vinu has withdrawn Rs. 40000 for the last few days. In Vinu's driving license, telephone number of a nearby hospital was written. So David visits the hospital to check if Vinu has visited the place. The security guard tells him if he has gone to the laboratory directly there may not be any entry in the hospital.

From the nurse at the laboratory David knows that Vinu has come with a blood sample for testing a few days back. Since anticoagulant was added, they refused to analyse it. The hospital security guard points David towards a local laboratory that is functioning nearby. After confronting the lab technician in police style, David gets the details of a list of blood sample that Vinu has taken to the lab for analysis. From this David concludes that he was trying to match the blood of someone with his blood group - O negative.

On a hunch David questions the hospital's mortuary guard and finds that Vinu regularly visited the place looking for his missing friend. Also the night watchman gave Vinu a deadbody which he returns the same night. From this David concludes that Vinu may be faked his death.

Later David receives a call from a local travel agent that someone has given him a fake note of thousand rupees to book a bus ticket to Bangalore. David catches him from the bus and it turns out it is Cycle who was trying to get out of the town. Using Cycle, David locates his other friends - Vinu and Jessica. Eby is no where to be seen. David asks Vinu to recount the happening of the night of his suicide. He tells him that Eby had planned everything and stole the cash so he could kill Vinu because of his secret love for Jessica, but Jessica and Cycle where hearing all this. Jessica said she could not forgive him for trying to kill Vinu. With guilt Eby tells them that the money is in the vehicle and commits suicide by jumping of the waterfall. Coincidentally Eby's blood group was the same as Vinu's and they both had the same tattoo, so they decide to use Eby's suicide to fake Vinu's death. After their confession David reveals that Eby was a carrier for Christopher and the money in the bag was grade one counterfeit cash. David gave them the option of either leaving the money on the table so that he can report it as an abandoned bag of counterfeit money and that no one would ever disturb them about it or arrest them and take them to the court for planned murder. They chose the first option and handed the money over to David and left. On their way back Shan asks Cycle to stop the van, he ask them who they just gave money to, and ironically it is revealed in the end that David Abraham himself is Christopher Moriarty.
