Craig Plestis is the President and CEO of Smart Dog Media, a leading reality programming production company with a first look deal with NBC Universal and its cable networks including Bravo, Syfy, USA Network, E! and Style Network. Plestis is an executive producer of NBC's 2010 game show "Minute to Win It" hosted by Food Network star Guy Fieri. He has multiple shows in development at the cable networks of NBC Universal as well as two Food Network series, Extreme Chef and Chef Hunter. Extreme Chef premiered this summer while Chef Hunter will be premiering on November 10, 2011. Additionally, Plestis has a brand new game format called Who's Still Standing, premiering this winter on NBC.

As the former NBC Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming, Development and Specials, he oversaw all alternative programming and development for the network including "Deal or No Deal," "The Biggest Loser," "The Apprentice," "The Singing Bee", "America's Got Talent", "Last Comic Standing" and "1 vs 100", among others. In Summer 2006, he oversaw West Coast Specials including The Golden Globe Awards and other events.
