Hayley Tamaddon Biography

Hayley Tamaddon (born 24th January 1977, Blackpool, England), is an English actress who is most notable for portraying Delilah Dingle in ITV's Emmerdale, and has also appeared in The Royal and Where The Heart Is. She is a contestant in Soapstar Superstar 2007. Hayley has previously appeared in numerous theatre roles including Frenchie in Grease and Diana Morales in A Chorus Line.

Hayley went to Montgomery High School in Bispham, Blackpool.

Hayley has said; "I love 70s disco and I like all the old soul classics. I like Beverley Knight, her album. Love her. Who else do I like? Christina Aguilera. Absolute legend that girl is."

Away from the screen she loves horse riding and dancing.

It has been revealed that Hayley will be written out of Emmerdale this summer as Series Producer Kathleen Beedles has decided not to renew her contract but has promised not to kill off Del " leaving the door open for a comeback later down the line.

She is currently appearing in ITV1's Soapstar Superchef
