  • 'Combat Missions' star Scott Helvenston among 4 dead in ambush in Fallujah, Iraq

    Scott Helvenston, 38, a former U.S. Navy SEAL who was one of the principal stars of the USA Television reality series Combat Missions, has been identified as one of the four Americans who were killed and then abused after death in an ambush by Iraqi terrorists in Fallujah, Iraq on March 31.
  • 'Bachelorette' runner-up Charlie Maher hired by 'Extra'

The NY Post reports that Charlie Maher, the 28-year-old former financial adviser who was chosen by Trista as runner-up to firefighter Ryan Sutter on The Bacheloretter, has been hired by Extra as a special correspondent to cover Hollywood people and events. His qualification appears to be his friendships with such celebrity partiers as Jennie Garth, Tea Leoni (David Duchovny's wife) and Kelly Preston (John Travolta's wife).
  • 'Extreme Makeover' premiere rescheduled to Thursday, April 10th at 9PM ET

    ABC has announced that the first of seven new one-hour specials of "Extreme Makeover" has been rescheduled to premiere on Thursday, April 10 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. Each of the seven self-contained episodes will feature two people, first in their "before" phase, then as they undergo their various procedures, and finally, when the end results are revealed to their families. Following nationwide open casting calls and over 7000 applicants, the first two lucky individuals - Kine and Tammy - were chosen for the once-in-a-lifetime chance to participate in "Extreme Makeover."
