Kelsey Moore Biography

Kelsey Elizabeth Moore (born 1990 in Phoenix, Arizona) is a pageant titleholder from Chandler, Arizona who won the Miss Texas USA title and who competed in Miss USA 2010.

Moore, a resident of El Paso, Texas, became the first state winner from that city since Christine Friedel won the title in 1994. She was also the first winner in many years who had not previously competed in the pageant, the first in many years from out of state and the youngest winner since 2007.

Moore was a student at the University of Texas at El Paso and a middle blocker on their volleyball team. She had previously lead Savannah Christian Preparatory to the state championship in 2005 and Valley Christian High School to success in 2007.

Miss USA 2010

Moore failed to reach the final 15 in the event on May 16, 2010, breaking Texas' nine year streak of placements from 2001 to 2009
