Lane Moore Biography

Lane Moore is a stand-up comic, writer, and musician living in New York, New York.

She is a writer for The Onion and The Onion Book of Known Knowledge: A Definitive Encyclopaedia Of Existing Information. Moore is a former editor for Jezebel and is currently the associate editor at Autostraddle.

Moore regularly contributes to McSweeney's, Ms. Magazine, Feministing, and XOJane and sits on the Board Of Advisers for the Women In Comedy Festival in Boston.

In 2011, she published a comic book based on her experiences in Los Angeles called Smarty Pants that is sold throughout the United States and Canada and was featured at Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco.

Television

Lane Moore is a regular commentator on VH1 talking head shows.

Personal life

Lane is also a vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist.
