It tells the story of Dr. William Masters and Virginia Johnson. The series was picked up for 12 episodes. It is set to premiere on September 29, 2013.

Plot

Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan star as the title characters, Dr. William Howell Masters and Virginia Johnson, two researchers in the nature of human sexual response.
