Melanie Camp is an Australian actress based in Los Angeles. One of 5 children, Melanie grew up on the west coast of Australia in Perth, Western Australia - the most isolated city in the world.

Career

Melanie played Dorothy in "?True Blood"? she can be seen in Ep 503 "Whatever I Am, You Made Me"

Melanie was in the feature; "?Sincerely Forever"? and she made a scene stealing cameo as Sprinkles in the gangster spoof "?Hit Team"?

She is a member of the fake band TigerTripp. Their single "The Ice Cream Song". was released in October, 2014. The music video has had over 70,000 views on YouTube.

Past Career

Melanie's entertainment career began in regional radio, north of Sydney in a town called Muswellbrook. Her first job was at the station copywriter and afternoon announcer on Power FM 98.1 Ever since Melanie has worked consistently in media in both radio and television.

For over 5 seasons she was a regular on Channel 7 Perth TVW, Perth's Home in WA, and hosted many TV specials for the station including the game show 'Finders Keepers' and 'Our WA' travel specials.

As a radio announcer Melanie has worked for some of Australia's top networks at stations that include DMG's Nova 937 and Austereo's 2Day FM and 92.9 (Perth radio station). Melanie was the host of the late night number 1 rating 'Australia's Most Wanted' countdown.

Melanie was in the movie Action Hero with Brian Thompson and she recently starred in the Web Series "Life on the ENG" with Shelley Michelle who was the uncredited body double for Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.
