Paul Wharton Biography

Paul Wharton was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in the suburbs of Washington, DC. At the age of 19, he moved from Washington to New York City where he worked as a model, wardrobe stylist and image expert.

Paul was first seen as the popular Model Coach from MTV's MADE television series, followed by a stint as a makeover expert on The Ricki Lake Show. Paul went on to contribute to various television news and talk shows including VH1 model series The Agency, where Paul provided innovative image enhancement advice to young women that aspired to break into the modeling industry.

Paul's work as a fashion, modeling and lifestyle expert has been featured on television networks internationally and in top fashion magazines (including his own Ask Paul column and online show with Elle Elle magazine's Ellegirl.com) and on local and national news, radio and talk shows.

Paul is a regular contributor to features and articles on how women can improve their image and become more "model fabulous". Paul also works with some of the world's top modeling agencies such as Wilhelmina instructing and developing newly signed talent in the areas of high fashion runway and over-all image development.

In 2008, Paul was featured as the Model Coach/Show Starter on TV Land's series She's Got the Look. Paul is also the style expert of TV One, a network targeted to upscale African American households and can currently be seen on Makeover Manor. He has recently signed a deal to be on a show entitled Throw down in Denver, a live show on TV One that will cover the Democratic National Convention. Paul is under contract with The CW Television Network to write a daily online and on-air blog called TrenDC, that follows his day-to-day activities. Paul owns Evolution Look Modeling Agency in Washington, DC and Evolution Look Online, a company that dynamically creates flash portfolios and websites for creative talent. He launched a new line of inspirational jewelry and his very own hair care product line in late 2008.

Paul Wharton appears on the Bravo series The Real Housewives of DC.
