Roger Wilson

Roger Wilson Biography

Roger Wilson (born October 8, 1958) is an American real estate developer and former actor in movies and television, notably the first two Porky's movies and Thunder Alley. Roger also wrote numerous screenplays for notable producers including Steve Tisch, Penny Marshall, and Sharon Stone. He briefly taught screenwriting classes in New York City in the mid-2000s and was the lead singer in the New York-based band Num in the 1990s.

He attended Woodberry Forest School and graduated in 1975 with Marvin Bush, brother of former President George W. Bush. Both of his parents died young and Roger inherited a considerable estate as a teenager.

Roger was married to Estee Lauder model Shaun Casey from the late 1970s to 1983.

After his divorce, he became supermodel Christy Turlington's first serious boyfriend at age 18. They dated from 1987-1993. Christy told Cosmopolitan magazine and Dennis Miller, when he had a brief, late-night talk show, that she and Roger were married. However, it was a spiritual, and not a legal ceremony. Roger is the one who introduced Christy to yoga and she moved to California briefly to live with him. Christy had his initials and a rose tattooed on her ankle, which she later removed. Christy and Roger broke up in 1993 and she began to date actor Christian Slater for a few weeks.

Roger later dated Elizabeth Berkley from Saved by the Bell in the late 1990s. In 2000, he got in a fight with some of actor Leonardo DiCaprio's friends and a multimillion-dollar lawsuit was filed against the actor for encouraging his entourage to inflict bodily harm on Roger.

Roger now splits his time between New York and Louisiana working in real estate development.
